Because of the remoteness and vastness of our area, all hunts and fishing safaris are 95% conducted by the use of airplanes.  The Tsiu operates 4 aircraft; 2 Piper Super Cubs, a Cessna 185 and a Dehavilland Turbine Beaver.  This helps assure your accessibility to those remote strips and high mountain areas, in acquiring your trophy and comfort needs.  All aircraft are inspected regularly and up to several times a year, to assure proper maintenance and safety insurance.  Pilots employed by the Sam Fejes’ Tsiu River Lodge are all commercial and instrument rated and have a minimum of 5000 hours in type of aircraft used by the Sam Fejes’ Tsiu River Lodge.
